Lesley was born in Bristol & moved to London when she was six.
She studied painting at Goldsmiths College (1972-76) & the Royal College
of Art (1977-80) graduating with a Masters Degree in Fine Art Painting
Lesley has exhibited extensively in galleries & museums in London
Europe, the USA & China during a Visiting Painter Invitation to Urumqi
Xinjiang 1996. She moved to the USA in 2003 with her American husband. Lesley continues to paint & exhibit in both countries

Huts & Tarps, Acid Skye, & the Gas Stations of Florida.
Most important influences are Edward Hopper, David Hockney, Andy Warhol Georges Braque & John Sel Cotman"
